Camera Case Handbag
I just love this camera case handbag from Urban. It comes in three colors and is only $38. It’s part of their lovely spring collection. I picked up a vintage camera bag the other month for $3 and I’m loving it. Now if only I’ll get outside and actually use it : P

Give Me Some Love

Oh boy oh boy, how I love Valentine’s Day inspired photography. Maybe I just love hearts in general. This talent comes from a classic favorite of mine, Megan Russell. I’ve blogged about her time and time again. I think it’s safe to call her a ‘fan favorite’. Who are your favorite photographers?

Starbucks + Jenna
So today was a good day. As you can see it involved pastries and coffee (always a good combination
). This week at my university is Missions Week. Lots of missionaries come in and talk about what they do and why they do it. It’s truly inspiring.
One quote from a book I’ve been reading lately is “Don’t worry so much about making mistakes. God can easily stop you” (On Being A Missionary by Thomas Hale). I am really enjoying the book and I’m learning so much from it. Missions has been on my mind a lot lately.
In other news, my university beat their rival for the second time this year after years of loosing to them. It was a good night : ) I am also officially on the hunt for the perfect cupcake shop in Philly. Any suggestions??

Oh The Pretty Things We See
APC, Belinka, Piperlime, LA Garconne, Boden, Rogan Sweatshirt, Anthropologie, Calypso
Sometimes I like to just look at all the pretty things online, even if I could never own them. It’s just great to have some inspiration! Here are some of my favorites lately.

My Red Hat
I started working on a red hat with a rib stitch pattern and a garter stitch around the crown of the head. I think it’s going to look really cute and have a bit of a slouch to it : ) But this time I’m thinking of giving it away to someone as a present instead of keeping it for myself. Giving presents is so much more fun!
I have been looking online at different field guides for my camera and I’m thinking about getting one or putting it on my birthday wish list. I really do want to know more about how to work my camera and start taking better pictures. Now it’s just down to deciding which book to purchase…they all have great reviews from customers which make it even harder to choose!
(And P.S. – sorry about all the room pictures lately. I haven’t been good about taking my camera places, but I hope to fix that soon!)
This past week was a good one. The Searched & Found has been doing really well and my etsy shop was featured (which totally made my day) and I’ve had tons of great conversations this week with friends and with family. I think that constitutes for a general celebration : )
By the way … meet my new friend Alyssa! Isn’t she great?!

A Goody Bag
Linda + Harriett always has the cutest cards and such. But this time I am really loving their Valentine’s Day Goody Bag. Somehow they always manage to make me smile at the little things

Falling In Love In Paris
This was by FAR my favorite commercial of the 2010 Superbowl. Google always knows how to do it right.

I Am Quite Mortified

I am personally mortified that I haven’t had the guts to go and take pictures of the beautiful snow outside. I guess I’m still in that stage where I’m self-conscious about others watching me take pictures of myself or other people in the snow. I feel like it’s generally frowned upon.
There’s always tomorrow. I just hope the snow doesn’t go away before that.

Somehow

Somehow the day got away and I wasn’t able to have time to go outside and take pictures (not to mention is was absolutely FREEZING outside), so here are some lovely snow pictures of three places in London, and one place…not. But at least I was finally able to wear the trapper hat I got for Christmas and be justified in wearing it!
